Illmi Children’ s Fund is a non- profit organization that bridges the gap between access to funding and basic education. ICF aims to reduce the number of out of school children in Nigeria through the provision of access to basic education. Thereby, ensuring every child has basic literacy and livelihood skills which will provide them with a foundation for a better future. ICF targets underprivileged and out-of-school in various communities across Nigeria.

Mrs Maryam Augie Abdulmumin is the Founder of ICF which primarily focuses on advocacy and outreach programmes for child education especially in the most remote regions. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Ancestry Africa and Principal partner AWG consulting. She is also on the advisory boards of various other foundations including the Centre for Art and Creative talents and works closely with Donor agencies such as the United Nations Development Programmes on the Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, she has gained extensive legislative and policy framework Development experience at Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) and has worked at the investment division at the Securities and Exchange Commission. She has also gained vital experience working as an investment banker at BGL securities. Mrs Abdulmumin earned an exceptional degree in Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and a B.Sc. Business Administration specialising in International Business. Her passion for community development, child advocacy is apparent in her yearly programmes and philanthropic efforts.
Amina Wali-Shafeeq, serves on the board of both the American HVVFF initiative and the Nigerian HVVFF initiative. Mrs. Wali-Shafeeq is a Development Consultant currently pursuing her PhD in International Relations. She earned her distinguished undergraduate and graduate degrees in International Relations, History and Politics from Webster University Geneva, Switzerland. Mrs. Wali-Shafeeq also has a Certificate in Refugee and Migration Studies from Webster University Geneva. She further served as Principal Research Assistant, to the Head of the International Relations Department, at Webster University, Geneva. She has worked and assisted in several International Affairs conferences in Switzerland, Canada, United Kingdom and the United States. She has conducted research on several important issues ranging from political economy to development studies. She is extremely passionate about humanitarian issues related to gender, children, political economy and sustainable development.
Fatima Galaudu is the Founder of Yedi Tech, The Technology Partner of Illmi Children’s Fund. With a Masters Degree from the University College London, she studied Financial Systems Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Hull, England. From there she worked with J.P. Morgan in London, England as a Technology Analyst before returning to Nigeria. Miss Fatima also comes with vast experience as a Solutions Engineer and Commercial Real Estate Management. She is also a Board Member of a number of NGOs. She has a great passion for educating the girl-child and the empowerment of women and mothers in the Nothern Part of Nigeria.
