On the 25th of July 2022, a year later BBC Africa Eye released a documentary speaking to the girls, the interview with the girls show nothing but resilience and commitment to be educated, but since the abduction a year later the school has remained closed, Illmi Children’s Fund is supporting the girls through a crowd funding campaign aimed at sponsoring the girls to school.
