INTERNATIONAL DAY OF ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION

ICF joined the international community to commemorate The International Day of Zero Tolerance for female genital mutilation (FGM), observed annually on 6 February. In lending our voice to this cause, we had an Instagram Live discussion tagged, “The Big Talk” with Dr. Costly Aderibigbe-Saba, a doctor, FGM survivor, and advocate who champions fights against this harmful practice. She leads the Global Youth Consortium Against FGM and spoke at the UN advocating for its eradication. It was a robust discussion and added to our relevant stakeholder engagement.
