Illmi children’s Fund is a non-profit organization headquartered in Abuja that bridges the gap between access to funding and basic education. The organization works with underprivileged children across the most marginalized demographics including Almajiris, Orphans, internally displaced children, and the girl child. Providing them access to education and leveraging technology to raise funds. ICF also provides literacy and livelihood support skills in hard-to-reach communities.
There are currently over 10million out-of-school children in Nigeria. In order words 1 in every 5 out of school children in the world is a Nigerian. Our digital crowd-funding platform even though there has been a reasonable success can only cater to 24.8 percent of the students on our database. At this rate, it might take us 4 years on average to educate every 100 children in a population of 1000 kids. Which carries a huge cost on the economy and unrealized potential.

The nation Nigeria is at a very critical stage and we believe that quality education is the last hope for a nation. With the right education we will make considerable gains on fighting insecurity, economic hardship and overall national productivity.
The money will be raised primarily through two mediums:
1. Sales of Merchandise
2. Donations through our bank account and crowd-funding links
Underprivileged children from 14 States and 28 local governments. Qualified children for the scholarship must fall in one of five
categories of indigent orphans, deprived girl child, dropouts, internally displaced children, and Almajiris.
As part of our strategic targets, we aim at educating 10000 in five years. This academic year, we are building on the success we have had using our digital crowd-funding platform, we want to expand opportunities for More children in more under-served communities across different states and geopolitical regions in Nigeria. This is our first big leap toward achieving our strategic goal by 2026.
